Representative in Thailand Receives Award from US Commercial Service

Enstrom Helicopter Corporation’s representative in Thailand, M-Landarch Inc., recently received a prestigious award from the US Commercial Service.  The “Excellence in Trade Platinum” award was given for outstanding achievement in promoting trade between the United States and Thailand in 2011.  M-Landarch was instrumental in securing Enstrom’s contract to supply 16 model 480B turbine training helicopters to the Royal Thai Army.

“We could not be more proud of M-Landarch,” said Enstrom’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Tracy Biegler. “They have been model representatives for Enstrom. Throughout the bidding, negotiating, and contracting processes their advice was key to winning the program. Now that we’ve moved into executing the program, and delivering the aircraft, they have stepped up and become an effective liaison between Enstrom and the Royal Thai Army. Their ability to solve problems quickly and willingness to support the program continues to impress us. I’m not surprised at all that they won this award. They deserved it.”

M-Landarch has won multiple awards within Enstrom as well. They received Enstrom’s Representative Of The Year award in their first year with the company, and received it again this year. “This is an outstanding example of cooperation between a US manufacturer and a local agent boosting sales and exports,” said Enstrom President & CEO, Jerry Mullins. “We congratulate M-Landarch on winning this award from the US Commerce Department.”

The 480B helicopters are being used by the RTA for pilot training, as well as utility missions. Enstrom and M-Landarch have already delivered 10 of the 16 aircraft contracted, with the remaining six to be delivered on time and on budget in the first half of 2012.
