1970

F. Lee Bailey bought the company in 1970 and quickly turned on the sales and marketing machine with a flashy ad campaign and a peak production of 109 helicopters in 1977.

Copy: Enstrom President F. Lee Bailey with his F-28A Presidential model, which had doors half painted with upholstery and map pockets inside.
